I was spending way too much time on this and I was planning to uninstall it back to windows 8. Now Safe mode is better with download speeds and IE is better than Chrome. So upstairs I now have my laptop, in range, of a good signal. When I try to connect at one of the out buildings where the service is still called CHE-GUEST, it works! The Lenovo is the only one with the problem. Executing the above netsh commands changes the TCP Window size to 65,535 and enforces the change which precludes Windows 8 from flubbing with it again.

I have an HP Envy, Windows 8. At least one user See Austin in the has below discovered using netsh. So many times nothing works. With Windows as my chosen operating system, I am almost north to find the software I need to complete my tasks.
