The Documentation for the DIC plugin is missing. From the files included I can neither derive the author nor the purpose of this plugin. Has anyone information about this plugin.

    Hi!

I think I can help you out wrt this one. The plugin is a collection of algorithms regarding Digital Image Correlation. Some fullfield and subset algorithms, initial guess and what might be of more general interest several interpolation algorithms, from bi-linear to at least bi-quintic interpolation. As far as I remember there should be documentation within the source code, though.

    Cheers

    Thank you very much Christian,
unfortunately I cannot find any documentation in the source-code.
With your help I found that the plugin is related to the universidade federal de alagoas and probably those two papers.

    Hi again,

looking at the source code, the doc strings are filled with meaningful information. What other documentation would you expect?

    Cheers

There a no doc strings, as far as I am concerned in the source code. Just some rudimentary fragments in the header file, that I have to look up.
My expectation is an DOCS Folder with an DIC.rst file, which should comprise comprehensive information about the plugin itself.

    Version, Author, Type, Platforms etc..
As well as an Overview, Usage Descriptions and Input Parameters

By which means we can generate a documentation, like in the case of the AndorSDK3 plugin.
