G4Tubs visualisation problem
Issue #3
resolved
Magnet and beampipe are G4Tubs and at least on mac do not visualise properly on mac * Reproduced in 4.9.6.p01, 4.9.5.p02 (mac) * What is the mac open GL implementation? * Does it exist on other visualisers on mac? * Does it exist on other platforms (liunx) in OpenGL

As Laurie mentioned, this is understood now and was due to using some outdated visualiser commands.

The geometry checks out ok using the geometry checker and from inspecting the code for example for quadrupole and sector bend.
You can get round this (for now) (and for pretty picture production) by using the command
/vis/drawTree
in the interactive mode. This produces an error that the parameter is not in the candidate list. I've tried many inputs like World, 0, 1, theWorld etc.. but none seem to work. After the error, the view point changes and everything is rendered properly.
This at least gives a hint that it may be the default way we connect to the visualiser or put the world in the visualiser or instruct it to draw it that causes this error. Further investigation needed, but at least we have pretty pictures.
