Sentinel 2 time series further back than 2019.

Hi there, I’m using the GEE Time Series Explorer for my master thesis in remote sensing, but it seems like you can’t go further back than 2019 when using the Sentinel 2 MSI Surface Reflection image collection, even when specifying the date in the Collection Viewer code. Is there a reason why it isn’t possible to go further back than 2019, even though the Sentinel 2 program launched in 2015?

Hello Asbjørn,

Thanks for writing and using the plugin. The issue you are describing relates to the data that is ingested in the Earth Engine data catalog. Depending on the world region, the S2 L2A data may not be available for the full operational period. It´s a pity for many applications, but nothing we can change unfortunately.
