Significance of "column count mismatch"

Lovely code; just used it to convert ~200 files to csv. A small number of them printed the "column count mismatch" warning. I dug into the code a little and can see that it's doing some sort of sanity check at that point, but can't decipher the significant of the check as I don't know sas7bdat format.

Simply put: is this something I need to worry about, ie does it mean the data might be corrupted in some fashion?
