Is there a way to change the ESC key from backing out into Big Box While playing an emulated game?

Here's what im trying to do. I am trying to play emulated games using a steam link, which you guessed it requires steam to work. I love launchbox and own launchbox Premium so i made a simple shortcut into steam to allow myself to run Launchbox "Big Box". I can toggle and select the games and launch them correctly. The problem is my stupid steam link thinks the PS4 controller (Wireless) is a Mouse/Keyboard while connected using steam link. The only thing that i must do is disable the ESC hotkey for bigbox so it doesnt keep backing me out into the Launchbox Big Box Menu. Thanks!
