Nintendo 64 Video VLC Playback problem
LaunchBox 6.8 beta 3
Windows Version: 10 Pro 64bit
Emulator: Project 64
Video: VLC
When playing Nintendo 64 Games sometimes when I choose a game to play the video stops when the emulator starts, but then starts back up again. As shown in the video attached.
Sometimes randomly I get this stack trace:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at (VlcPlayer , IntPtr , IntPtr& )
at Meta.Vlc.Wpf.VlcPlayer.VideoLockCallback(IntPtr opaque, IntPtr& planes)
Then Big Box crashes

repo owner Thank you Adriaan, I have a ticket in with the Meta.Vlc developer to hopefully help with some of these VLC issues. I'll look into the playing during gameplay bug in the mean time though. :)

repo owner I think I've hopefully resolved the playing after starting games bug, and I'll have a new beta release out later today. If you can test with 6.8-beta-6 after it comes out, I'd appreciate it. :)

repo owner Also, it's worth noting that while we get some of these remaining VLC issues fixed, it's recommended to use Windows Media Player instead if you can.

reporter Thank you, I appreciate it. I will test this when beta 6 comes out, and I will let you know if it has been fixed :)
