Option to display only release year on the release date field

I like having the option to see the whole release date of a game. It makes it look really nice when you can go through your games and see exactly when all of your games were released.

However, there are many games, especially on the older or more obscure consoles, that don't have a known release date, but do have a known release year. For example the Atari 2600 released most of their catalogue in 1982. However, many of those games don't have a known release date so many default to 1/1/1982. It looks really goofy when this is the case. There are plenty of other examples on obscure or older consoles.

My suggestion is to make the release date have an option to only display a release year. What you can do is actually type in the release date as it currently works in Launchbox, but just check a box in Big Box/LaunchBox that displays only the release year. It can display the release year only, but can also contain the value of the full release date so it can easily be organized chronologically, if you want to sort your games in this manner, which I prefer sometimes.

I was going to ask for this exact feature myself, as I have left tons of games with an empty release dates rather than putting 1/1/85 when I only know it was released in 1985. I'm no computer whizz but I imagine this wouldn't be that difficult to implement.

This can be done when making a theme by specifying the string format to just yyyy but is not something that is currently a user option
