Bigbox mame issue on older mame

Hi I am a premium member and I've loved big box, my mame collection is not massive but a lot of the roms didn't work due to not having the chd or correct bios etc etc, I recently downloaded a mame pack with 6000 roms some classics working but when I changed the mame in to launch box it won't load games it just sais there are matching games with the title, I realise why this is as mame dosent know which game you want to play and I believe newer mame dosent have this issue but when I put new mame on the roms don't load, I really want the mame I have with the configuration to work but I can't work out how to get launchbox to override the request to select which game you want so now I'm using mame on its own can you help me in anyway, I even removed all the roms that have similar names to others but I still come up with the same problem [e-mail]

Hi Darren, please hit us up on the forums. I'm not entirely following but Bitbucket is really just for bugs. There are lots of people on the forums who can help. :)
