Controller buttons under Bigbox

Hello,

I use a http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=235 in my arcade cabinet, which supports up to 40 buttons.

These buttons are recognized by windows as a usb controller buttons, not keyboard keys. When I want to assign my escape button (controller button 17 on my cabinet) Bigbox does not recognize it, other buttons work Ok, up to 13 as far as i tested.

Is there a way to change this or do i have to rewire my cabinet :)
