Steam game choosing wrong video

Issue #1776 closed

v. 6.12.beta.5

I have two games from Steam in my database: Knights (Steam gameid 476240), which is a chess-like puzzle game involving moving knights to specified destination squares; and Blood Knights (Steam gameid 258220), which is an action-adventure-RPG-whatever (my category for it is "adventure - role-playing").

I acquired Blood Knights more recently than Knights, and the appropriate Steam video ("Blood Knights.webm") downloaded for it, but in the details pane the video for Knights plays. "Blood Knights.webm" is in the appropriate LaunchBox folder.

Knights plays the appropriate video for its entry ("Knights.webm").

Suggestion: Perhaps using a more stringent wildcard algorithm is in order - if wildcards are used in this type of scenario - so that videos don't get mixed up like this. Since everything is where it should be and named what it should be named without using any substituting characters (like "_" for ":"), I don't know of any workaround I could do to make this come out right; I restarted LaunchBox but the issue wasn't resolved.

Using a more stringent algorithm may also help prevent games being reassigned wrong names based on the LaunchBox game database, which was still happening in previous beta builds ("Smash Up" became "Smash Up Derby" in my database, for example).
