Freezes while using game edit screen

In most cases I don't have to edit games as the LB scraping is spot on, but I had to edit a few miss scraped games today and I noticed that when editing the game title or anything below the drop down menus everything was fine, but if I selected the dropdown menus to change the publisher or developer for example then I'd get the blue circle and it would show not responding and the freeze would last for 60 seconds the first time I came across this to well ages, because I ran out of patience waiting :)

It's not so much a issue that stops me from using LB but a bit of a pain if I want to edit something. Any ideas or info that I can provide to you guys?
