Make it its own OS as well!!

This is possibly a far off idea, as i know your a busy guy. If you were to give this a linux port you could essentially strip away the rest of the linux os and make this an OS comparable to steamOS.... Im sure you have thought of this, but just in case, i was throwing it out there. I mean you already have the GUI in the form of big box mode....

I agree it would be great to have Launchbox as a stand alone OS, but I think Jason has mentioned in live streams that a Linux version of LB would have to be built from the ground up, and wouldn't be worth it, especially considering it would take away from LB windows development. I'm sure you could strip Windows down to the bare minimum and have BigBox start with Windows.

Being a linux guy myself, I'd love this idea. But LaunchBox would need to be... well, there is no porting LaunchBox over to Linux. We would need to simply code it all from the ground up. It's probably going to happen someday, but not in the near future. Thanks for the request, though :).
