PC is a Intel Core i5 6600k with 16gigs DDR3 corsair ram, an Nvidia GTX760 MSI video card, z97m-d3h gigaabyte motherboard. Running windows 10 with all updates applied to date. 256gb Samsung SSD system Drive and Western Digital HDs. Box is specifically built for use as an emulation & gaming PC with bigbox as frontend.

The problem (CRASH) occurs when I go into a platform and then begin to browse title by letter. As soon as I scroll accross from A to Z, it becomes jumpy, freezes on a letter then crashes. It happens on more than 1 platform, but it is much worse when collections inside a platform are large. I've tried clearing the Scroll wheel cache and clearing all cache settings but that only seems to make the lag and crashing worse when Bigbox begin's to "re-cache" .... When I receive the above error, it physically locks up Bigbox. I need to do a CTL/ALT/DEL and stop the Bigbox Task from running. My hard disks and SSD report no errors when scanned for errors and the Launchbox system has been running extremely well until this issue "abounded" as I have continued to ugprade from beta to beta...

I also have been experiencing this for quite some time now ( going back an official version release or two..) it's just getting worse. And re-installing Launchbox/ Bigbox from the backup folder doesnt seem to help... I have countless hours invested in this install so I hope it can be fixed.

I appreciate... I am a big supporter of Launchbox and an advocate. Thanks for listening to your users guys and making this a great peice of software!

Hi MrArcade, see if you can try going into the Image Prioritization settings in LaunchBox under Tools > Options. Try unchecking everything you're not using and checking only one item for each list. See if that helps anything. I received a report that that makes a big difference for some people, but I haven't been able to replicate it myself.

Still there MrArcade? Also I'm guessing you're using Windows Media Player as your video playback engine. Try switching to VLC and see if it makes any difference.
