BigBox/LaunchBox

Hey I have downloaded the zip file off the website for Big Box/Launch Box and have saved it to my downloads folder. When i open Kodi and install from zip i get an error "Cannot install add-on from zip file. Im currently trying to do this on my MacBook. I Also tried to install from zip on my Sony Bravia Android TV and i get the same error message. On my Android phone i was able to install big box however it says working but won't open. i have gone through the setting and tutorials and cant find Launch box. Please Help. If so please help with the install on my Android tv.
