Using dat files for adding rom files

I use dat files for checking roms and with mame importing that would help fix naming issues and help quicken import of other systems. Also denoting what type of rom naming its using for easer rename from dat file into lainchbox. I have lots dat files for various purposes. I get them from various sources. All of them can be used to check what files you have to import at least make shure that their correct before importing.

using dat files whould be awesome for people that use clrmame and want to create a .dat with the games that want to be imported without using launchbox filters (those are a little inacurate)
