Interface

This is a great program, I am looking for something like this, I would like to give you my feedback. Well the dos games the artwork looks great and I like the details, but there seems to be limited functionality as far as dosbox configurations which as you know all need to be different for each game. Currently I use ProGammaX which works well. You may want to take a look into how that operates with dosbos configs.

Second thing I'd like to mention is that your interface is not ideal when dealing with a lot of roms. For example I have 4000 mame roms, and I can only imagine the amount of memory and possibly CPU that would get used up by Launchbox with that many roms.

I use retrocopy for genesis roms and I believe that is the best way to do it there is an alphabetical list and only when clicked on does the game art show up etc. It should be searchable by letter and probably divided by letter as you know with 1000's of roms it will lag and use up memory if not categorized by letter. The list needs to be searchable by typing in the first letter(s) such as mame plus UI or retrocopy in order to navigate to a game you have in mind.

For PC games people want to see front and back box art, and the manual and other inserts so there should be like up to 5 manual tabs. For example I own ultima6 It comes with 3 different instructionals and a map, which all would be nice if they were printable as well...

for console games ppl want to see front and back art and the instructions and the cartridge.

of course for arcade games there is the flyer, cabinet, title, bezel, marquee

and screenshots for everything...

this seems like a ton of work and it is, but if you want to "emulate all" that's whats needed

something I am really looking for is the ability to resize my game window on my 27" monitor, many old games look terrible, but they look great at smaller size. Thing is I don't like to see my desktop while I play a game windowed, so it needs like grey or grey/black borders around it

so I am sure you will go in the direction the money is, hopefully can use my humble suggestions, thanks
