Big Box prevents computer from sleeping (an audio stream is currently in use)
LaunchBox Versions tested: 7.4 and 7.5 beta 8
Windows Version tested: Windows 10 Pro 1607
How often the issue occurs: Anytime Big Box is open and the computer has idled for enough time to go to sleep. When Big Box isn't open, the computer sleeps as intended. When Big Box is open, the display turns off but the computer doesn't sleep. This issue occurs regardless of whether Big Box is currently playing any video or audio. I use the default theme with no audio and video playing.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
-
Change Windows power plan to put computer to sleep after 1 minute
-
Open Big Box and afk until screen goes black but computer doesn't sleep
-
Open CMD as admin and do "powercfg -requests" to see what was preventing Windows from sleeping. On both computers I tested, cmd showed that an audio stream is currently in use
-
Repeat the steps without Big Box open and computer should sleep no problem. "powercfg -requests" returns no issue with "audio stream" after waking from sleep

Can someone please look at this? It's the only bug that makes use of bigbox for me impossible in my situation

Please can someone fix this? I know this is a few years late but I still need it to be fixed.

repo owner This was fixed years ago. There’s an option in the Big Box interface to allow the computer to go to sleep.
