cant restore launchbox

Im using windows 10 Not sure which version of Launchbox as I cant open it but I did a beta update around 430pm on 1/19/17 but by mistake I closed before completed and now I cant reopen. I followed your suggestion and copied the Launchbox xml file and the License xml but not sure how to back up? I reinstalled a fresh copy then replaced the Launchbox application into my original file but I get the error I am reporting. What are the correct steps to restore?
