Rocketlauncher support for steam games

I like using rocketlauncher to control my servo stick's 4/8 way function, and it works fine for everything but steam games. if I set the emulator to rocketlauncher I receive an error that "The ROM file you've specified does not exist" with Launchbox as the window title. in rocketlauncher I am able to launch the game, and it never see's the request to open the game in it's logs when I try from launchbox.
