Changing Platform removes Emulator setting

My setup is as follows in Platform Category:

+Arcade Mame - Games Mame - Shooters

1. I select a shooter game I want to move from "Mame - Games" to "Mame - Shooters",
2. Choose Edit > change platform to "Mame - Shooters"
3. Going to Mame - Shooters, I can now see the game in this menu successfully, however double clicking this game will simply open the folder in Windows explorer, instead of launching the game. When you check the settings now, there is no longer an emulator assigned to the game. (As shown in screenshot) Thankyou.
