While not official, there is documentation on the API that GOG Galaxy uses for games. This could be leveraged in much the same way the Steam API is used to show games that aren't installed but are owned on the GOG platform. This would be an amazing feature for people like me who are more heavily invested in GOG than Steam.

In addition to that, there is a command in Galaxy which can launch a game through GOG Galaxy, enabling its features such as achievements, overlay and time tracking.

Currently I'm using GOGWrapper installed in the Launchbox folder, and using it as the launch application for all my GOG enabled games. With the use of the GOG API documented above and implementation of GOGWrapper's functionality, we can get full support for GOG Galaxy.

This is basic support for the major competitor to Steam that has a similar philosophy to LaunchBox. I hope this comes out soon. Very much looking forward to being able to coordinate my GOG games properly without having to have them all installed.

I was going to post that part of the GOG API to the forums so Jason can have a look at it, hope this gets attention.

This feature would seriously make my day / year. As with Steam, I have a serious collection on GOG. Integrating it like the Steam feature would be brilliant.

I figured out a workaround that allows having the games listed even if they're uninstalled, and run Galaxy if I try to run something that isn't currently installed. It takes some copy-and-paste work of paths to set up, but then it works very well.

I had forgotten about this thread; I'm going to check out GOGwrapper and see if I can improve my setup to use it so that time played and so on are accurate. If anyone is interested, I posted my current workaround in the troubleshooting area of the forums.
