Problems importing MAME roms

I'm using Launchbox 7.9 Windows 10 Creative Edition (this happened with the Anniversary edition as well) The Issue occurs every time I attempt it Steps taken 1. Delete MAME roms by right-clicking on the platform name and choosing 'delete' 2. Acknowledge all games will be deleted by clicking on 'yes' 3. Create a new Platform, giving it a different name to the previously deleted platform 4. Associate it with the MAMA emulator 5. Choose 'Import ROMS' and follow it through choosing the 'Copy games to Launchbox' option 6. At the stage where a list of roms is generated, delete all of the unwanted roms and proceed. 7. Wait for 3-4 hours (I have a slow internet) for the metadata to download. 8. Fire up the platform, and all of the roms previously deleted from the list are installed

This happens every time. I can go through the platform list right-clicking on unwanted games and deleting them, but the next time I fire up launchbox, they are back again. Worse, Launchbox never imports Rainbow Islands, and this game definitely works in MAME. I have tried importing it individually with no success

Sorry, for some reason (possibly my own stupidity) the post has me as Anonymous. For Clarity, my name is Steve, my email address is [e-mail]. Also I forgot to mention, this issue happens on my desktop (I use for quick games) and my Arcade Box. Both run Windows 10 and LB 7.9
