I like how the release date is already shown in LaunchBox with the dd/mm/yyyy format. It works well for most games. However, there are many obscure games that have no known release date and only a known release year. For example, the majority of Atari 2600 games fall in this category. For most Atari 2600 games I need to enter the release date as 1/1/[year]. Since most of the games were released in 1982, they're all listed as 1/1/1982. This looks really tacky and in my opinion, there should be an option to have a checkbox to just have a release year shown. Therefore, the game would appear as a release date of 1982, instead of a goofy looking 1/1/1982. This problem exists on the 2600, but is an even bigger problem on the really obscure consoles.
