Adding Multiple Developers/Publishers to their list creates merged entries
Launchbox 7.10 Windows 10 x64 Creators Update How often? : Always
Currently, there is no way to add a Publisher or Developer other than adding a semicolon (;) and following it with the name of the company.
Sadly there is no way around this.
Steps to produce:
Let's say you have developer X and Y, which we'll call Nintendo and CyberConnect2 for this example.
Nintendo already exists in the list of developers in Launchbox, but CyberConnect2 does not.
- Open an edit window on a game.
- Nintendo is already checked off, but I want to add CyberConnect2.
- The only way to do this is to type a semicolon manually (;) then a space, then CyberConnect2.
Expected result: It should leave Nintendo checked off, and create a CyberConnect2 entry. What actually happens: It unchecks Nintendo, and creates a new listing "Nintendo; CyberConnect2" as one entry.
This also happens with publishers.
Edit: As a second case to this issue I just found out:
If you check off two publishers that already exist and save the changes, it creates a single merged entry also, it just doesn't use it and instead uses the separate entries.
