Options Menu Options Ability to Backtrack

Some options have alot of options. Currently, you cannot go back if you overpress an option. So I would like to be able to use the dpad to press left or right to be able to go back instead of going through all of the option to get to where you want to go.

To prevent an arcade stick's inaccuracy of accidentally toggling something you don't want while scrolling to your options, a button should be pressed to lock on to an option and you will be unable to move from that option until you press that confirm button again. During the lock on time, you'd only be able to press left or right on the dpad.
