launchbox/retroarch no longer launching games

hi i have launchbox set up with retroarch with cores for snes, neogeo, genesis, etc . games no longer launch at all other then SNES. even games that used to work just a few days ago . right clicking and picking open retroarch , it wont launch (the emulator its self) . anti virus enabled or disabled doesnt matter. happens everytime 100% started about 2 days ago. no error given at all. courser spins like its loading then just stops
