Stop importer renaming rom titles

Is there any way to stop launchbox renaming my roms and just use the file names as they are? I find that the rom importer produces to many duplicates because of wrongly matched rom titles. An option to import as is would be great. The same issue when i update metadata & images for already imported roms. If ive just spent hours fixing wrongly named duplicate roms i dont want the updater to change all my rom names back again!
