Incorrect sort order in bigbox when sorting by last played

I've noticed the sort order is not correct in bigbox when sorting by last played. I can't really determine how it's sorting but it's only sort-of-kind-of by last played date.

To recreate, create a new playlist with the following relevant information:

Details > Sort games by > Last played
Details > Include this playlist in the platforms list > Checked
Details > Platform category > Consoles

Auto-populate > Auto-populate this playlist > Checked
Criteria
 - Last played -- In recent days -- 15
 - Platform -- is not equal to -- Arcade
 - Complete -- is false

forgot to add I'm using the last beta but this has been an issue for a couple months at least. I don't know that it ever worked, certainly not since I have been trying.
