Updating Launchbox fails with an "Unsupported 16-bit application" error

When LaunchBox detects that a new update is available, and I authorize its download and installation, I get an "Unsupported 16-bit application" error message which reads as-follows: "The program or feature "\??\C:\Users\Sita\My Documents\LaunchBox\Updates\LaunchBox-7.11-Setup.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."

Currently using LaunchBox 4.1 Windows 7 64 bits

The issue is systematic
