Record own gameplay movies

I love lauchbox its great! and having gameplay movies run is awesome! While professionally done on emumovies I dont mind doing this myself. Was wondering how much trouble it would be to add a cutomisable hot key to launchbox. This would record footage for 1 minute. Then save it into the gameplay vid area. Allowing your program to pick this up and play in the background behind the boxart or in the game details.
