Black screen in big box

Occasionally while browsing my games in big box, I will pick a console and the screen will go black and I can't see the games. Big box still responds when I scroll through the list as I can still hear the sounds and the game videos playing. Once I back out of that menu and back to the console select screen I can see the screen again. It will remain this way how ever many times I pick that console, until I close and restart big box. It appears to happen randomly. I have tried versions 7.11 - 7.14 and have experienced this issue on all those versions. This can be reproduced by selecting a console and backing out of the games list repeatedly, and eventually the screen will go black and the games for that system can't be viewed until big box is restarted. I am running windows 10 and have the most up to date video card drivers and .net framework installed.
