Grey video artifacting

When I use BigBox, the game videos play normally, but randomly the image turns grey and pixelated for a few seconds, then goes back to normal. It seems like the video is dropping frames then trying to catch up. I have tried running BigBox on an external HDD, an internal HDD, and an internal SSD, and the same problem still happens. I just purchased a new computer (Intel i7 7700, GTX 1070) and this is the first time I've had this problem, and before it was running on a much older computer. Please help!! Grey video artifacting

Unfortunately this is caused by VLC and there's literally nothing we can do about it. It just means that VLC can't keep up on your system, so the only way to fix it is to either upgrade your hardware or use the Windows Media Player video playback engine.
