Retroarch freezes and crashes when executed by Launchbox in full screen mode at resolutions higher than 1920x1440

Retroarch freezes and crashes when executed by Launchbox in full screen mode at resolutions higher than 1920x1440. When running Retroarch manually it works fine, it only happens when executed by Launchbox in this scenario. Disabling full screen mode or reducing the resolution to 1920x1440 eliminates the issue.
