Error with 5.8 beta 1 - cannot start Launchbox

Running on Windows 10 32 bit, when updating to the latest beta 5.8 beta 1, launchbox crashes on startup with the error "Property set of 'URL' cannot be invoked at this time." and will not continue.

This happens at startup every time I start. I have reverted to an older install and redownloaded the beta, and the error continues.
