I've just installed LaunchBox version 5.7 on my computer (windows 10 64 bits) and i cannot launch the program, i have a pop up saying :
System.OutOfMemoryException: Mémoire insuffisante. à System.Drawing.Image.FromFile(String filename, Boolean useEmbeddedColorManagement) à LaunchBox.Controls.ImageGamesControl.set_DefaultBackgroundImagePath(String value) à LaunchBox.Controls.GamesControlBase..ctor(Boolean backgroundFanart, Boolean backgroundBoxArt, String backgroundCustomImage, Boolean backgroundClearLogo, Boolean drawRightBorder, Boolean drawBottomBorder) à LaunchBox.Controls.ImageGamesControl..ctor(Boolean backgroundFanart, Boolean backgroundBoxArt, String backgroundCustomImage, Boolean backgroundClearLogo, Boolean drawRightBorder, Boolean drawBottomBorder) à LaunchBox.Forms.MainForm..ctor() à LaunchBox.Program.Main(String[] args)

repo owner Hi zahzah, is it a brand new install? Have you added any games yet?
-
Yes it's a brand new install. I cannot even launch the programm so impossible to add any games :(
I click on the programm then directly i have a pop up that appears with the error. I've tried on my laptop and no problem, and my laptop has 8gb of ram too. I can add 8gb on my imac but i don't think it will solve my problem.Thnaks in advance !

repo owner I think I know what might be going on here. For whatever reason it looks like LaunchBox is trying to pull a corrupted image from your hard drive to use as the background image. It tries to use your desktop background as the default image, and for whatever reason it looks like it's finding a corrupted image. Try changing your desktop background image. In the mean time I'll put in some extra safety checks for this for the next beta. Thanks!

How much RAM do you have if it is 1 or 2 GB try going into tools then options and under system it will say RAM cache try turning that down lower. If you have more memory than what I mentioned then you have some other kind of issue
