Volume adjustment for emulators

I've noticed whenever I start Retroarch, the volume is set to 5000% every time. I can change this manually inside each individual emulator, yes, but I was wondering if there was any way to link Launchbox with emulators to control the volume. For instance, that volume adjustment knob at the bottom of the desktop mode that controls menu sounds, you can adjust your volume before you start the game.

Launchbox itself cannot control the emulators volume, LB is just a means of launching the games. You would have to set the volume in the emulator yourself or setup some sort of external keymapping software such as XPadder or Controller Companion to adjust volume using your controller if the emulator had button controls for volume.
