BigBox - Shut Down PC (somehow; .bat?)

Can BigBox somehow allow me to shut down my PC? I'm wondering about a generic ability to call an external application (.bat file).

Use Case, I know have a dedicated PC that boots directly into BigBox. I only need a controller to enjoy games. If I could shutdown the PC I could save a trip from the couch (I know Lazy!). BUT I also wonder if calling an external .bat file would be a valuable and flexible option for others.
