Experiencing performance issues associated with version 9.8 beta 1

I've been experiencing a small number of performance issues with the beta bur they are affecting my ability to use LaunchBox.

-Game cover-art/images in my library take noticeably longer to load.

-Stuttering and freezing when using Bigbox/LaunchBox.

-Game videos/video themes lag and increase resource usage.
