Let's fix the RetroAchievement integration issues (let us force an ID)

Issue #4917 resolved
Belmont created an issue

The relation between Launchbox and RetroAchievements is optimistic at best. My understanding is that the matching is done through the game title. This causes issues when it is not desirable to use RetroAchievements' titles. Ex: There is no way to properly view achievements for “Ms. Pac-Man (Tengen)” without changing the game’s title to “Ms. Pac Man (Tengen)” (without a dash) - and that’s not even the worst offender.

We have to be able to force a link through the RetroAchievements’s game ID (through a new field on the game details – not unlike the LaunchBox Database ID). Bonus points for integrating that link through the LaunchBox Database itself, so that retrieving meta data for LaunchBox Database ID 27218 (Ms. Pac-Man Tengen) would automatically populate that new field with RetroAchievement ID 1847 – leaving it manually updateable of course.

I know it sounds like a minor problem, but when the product is advertised as a solution so “I can OCD all over my collection”, the current integration doesn’t do. It seems like such a waste too – we’re almost there, It could be awesome, but right now it’s flawed enough to make me want to turn off the feature entirely.

Thanks for the consideration.

We also need to be able to prevent any mis-associations (if there’s no achievements for a specific titles, I should be able to make it clear so it doesn’t find a mismatch instead).
