Hyper Marquee type features/options - expanding on the second screen feature

Issue #4938 new

Hoping you could expand the second screen feature you already have to allow the user to move the marquee image on that second screen. Vitrolight stretch monitors are still super expensive and it would be nice to use a much cheaper 21:9 monitor in my upcoming cabinet build. i could use this much cheaper monitor and have big box throw the marquee image to the top half of the screen the bottom half would be hidden in the build. It would be nice to be able to resize and reposition the marquee image. This would save users a ton of money and give them another option for their arcade cab builds. Thanks for considering.

Same here! I have a retroprojected marquee cab and i’d like to define the marquee position and extents, because the visible part is a fraction of the entire projected image 🙂

Generally more options and controls for how marquees are displayed would be very nice.

Being able to position them and add transitions would be a good start but I would also like to be able to place overlay images on top to simulate backlight effect or damage to the artwork

Keen for various improvements in terms of a second screen. Primarily, allow Launchbox to use 2 screens - perhaps by making the different screen elements (the category tree, the games list and the details pane) modular.
