Default Emulator Bug

Issue #500 invalid
Former user created an issue

Hello,

Thank you for your hard work.

I was using Virtual Jaguar as my default Jaguar emulator. I installed Rocket Launcher and wanted to run games through that. I wanted to set Rocket Launcher as the default emulator and Launch Box warned me that Virtual Jaguar was already set as a default. I said yes to change it. This resulted in both being simultaneously selected as default. I then deselected Virtual Jaguar as default, however Launch Box still regarded it as the default emulator. I restarted the Launch Box and it had no effect. I then deleted the Virtual Jaguar emulator profile completely, so only Rocket Launcher is selected, but Launch Box doesn't attempt to run it when games are double clicked, even though it is still selected as default. It says "the emulator specified no longer exists." All of the games show a blank box under the "choose an emulator" drop down in the edit game menu as well. If I select Rocket Launcher manually from the edit game menu they run fine. I deselected/reselected Rocket Launcher as the default emulator and restarted the program multiple times but it didn't fix it. Cheers.

    Sorry, I forgot to add:

Launchbox version 5.8 premium; Windows 7; It's happened to me once, but I've only gone through the above process once.

    Regards

Default Emulator only really matters during import. Select a platform on the left, Ctrl + A to select all games. Right Click -> Edit to bring up the bulk edit wizard. Select emulator and change it here.

No problem. If this fixed your issue I'll go ahead and close this ticket. As well, you are more than welcome to post your questions in the forums as well.
