10.7 is just hanging, want version (9.x ?) before Gamepause menu etc...

I have a full cabinet running Luanchbox, MAME and RetroArch mainly. Since version 10.0 it’s being a mess, mostly with version where we got the pause menu etc… How to get the version 9.x before all this changes ? I want to go back to that stable version. I’m tired to restart the machine since this “features” were added.

If you’re having issues with startup and/or pause screens, all you have to do is turn them off. Reverting to an old version isn’t necessary.

I already turn them off since version 10.1/2 I think, what also happens often is the game jumps out when playing a game from MAME and return to BigBox menu while MAME game still runs in background. We have no input on menu to the joysticks so we can’t even go back to “Reboot”.

So, I want really to go back to that 9.x version and keep it there, I don’t need these new features I see not working properly, and this happen in 3 full cabinets, not an issue of one setup.

I would appreciate link to download and install version 9.7/8/9 I think these were the last ones where all was still ok.

Are you on Windows 7 or Windows 10? I ask because it would be nice to know why you’re having those issues, because if everyone was running into that stuff, I’d have an out roar. So I’m almost positive that’s not a typical experience, and it would be nice to know what’s causing it. My guess is that it’s probably caused by another piece of software that you have running in the background, but I can’t say for sure.

Windows Pro 10 (english), nothing changed in these machines since March except Launchbox/BigBox, same menus/theme, same content, all same except the Launchbox updates. I wait to see the issues solved with the new updates but got worst. Also was running a beta version and that was at least not giving these hangups.

So yes I will email with more info and of course will be happy to revert to older version. Many Thanks.
