Bigbox - Options - Security - Allow changing views while locked - not working

I don’t know if it’s only me, but when i uncheck the option Allow changing views while locked, when i lock Bigbox and push start, it still allows the views to be switched.

Looking forward to replies, and thank you in advance.

Which version are you on? I just tested the latest stable and the latest beta and this option works as it should.

Just confirmed 10.7 is working fine with this. I will let the dev know to see if he can replicate. I know this sounds simple and sure you are doing it, but make sure after you make the change to re-lock BigBox.

If you make the change then reboot BigBox does it still not work right?

So, i checked again, only one controller is forbidden to switch views while the other three can. I’ll attach the log file in case it helps, can’t make much sense of it.

Yup, actually i have those options unchecked for a while now, so can confirm that they don’t work after reboot (except the one controller that i mentioned).

One more discovery, tried the gamepad tester just now, the one controller that the option works fine for is being detected as Gamesir-G3w (which all of them actually are), so idk, when they're being detected as xinput Xbox 360 controllers the option doesn't seem to work for them.

OK so maybe this is just a controller issue. I was testing with my arcade stick which replicates key strokes. Do you have the option for “Use all controller” checked or unchecked?

Just a note, power went out, that’s the reason it messed up with detecting all controllers as regular xinput, but it did make for an interesting find tho (that the option does work at least in some instance).

OK did some more testing and does seem to be an issue when using controllers. I have let the team know.

Thanks for your trouble, wouldn’t bother me so much but friends and sometimes kids come by and as soon as they get on they start pushing buttons, i have to remember to change them back after we’re done.

Bug has been squashed and should appear in the version upgrade.
