UAC Warnings

Windows (8.1) is giving UAC (User Account Control) warnings when attempting to launch Launchbox or BigBox; this behavior is observed since update to v5.8, not observed previously. UAC warnings are a nuisance but more consequentially, render Launchbox/BigBox inoperable for use with In-Home Streaming/ Steam Link etc...

The only way to deal with these are to disable them. I've always disabled them on any install of Windows since 7, but there isn't going to be anything we can really do about this.

Hi Anonymous, it's worth noting that LaunchBox should not require UAC. It does not in our testing. I'm guessing maybe you installed it in a location that doesn't have write permissions without UAC?
