Feature request: video attract mode

I’m looking for an alternative to the current Attract Mode that simply plays a video file of my choosing. I’ve got a Windows Screensaver that plays the video file, but I cannot use the joystick buttons to wake Windows up from a screensaver so it’s less than ideal. Since you already embed VLC, I wouldn’t think it would be a difficult request.
