Auto-import games / monitor rom folders for changes
Ripping my psx collection over time and getting the games into launchbox, I am importing maybe 3 or 4 titles a week, I am finding that an option to 'monitor rom folder for changes' or something similar would be very useful!
I rip the discs on another pc, and push them over the network into my psx rom folder. It would be fantastic to see the games 'magically appear' in Launchbox!

reporter Thanks for the response Brad,
I use Launchbox primarily in Big Box mode (it is a great feature), and whilst I am aware of the 'add files' feature - I use the search function already - having to leave BigBox and be reminded of the Windows OS is frustrating.
In terms of weaker computers, perhaps having the feature as an option would give users the choice :-)

Of course no problem!
We do love our options, but I also see this easily being a Premium Feature too, but you have BigBox so you obviously own it. This could be a cool way to help BigBox users manage their library. Set up the folder, tell it what file extensions to always import and bam!
Don't forget to vote on this in the right box Dan.

Please don't do this unless you also allow it to be disabled. I sure don't want things to get slower.

This was implemented as far as we plan to implement it with the "Scan for New ROMs" features.

That would too, but I am worried about the performance that might cause for some weaker computers.
Just in case, if you aren't aware, In the Rom Importer is an "Add files" option. Navigate that to your PS1 root Rom / CD's folder. From that folder use the Windows Search function in the top right and search for "*.cue" . This will filter out everything but the cue sheets, Ctrl + A to select all and click import. LaunchBox won't add duplicates.
I still think that this function is useful, but that is an easy solution for now.
