Tools > Import >Epic Games does not remember login

Issue #5363 new
Warren Tutwiler created an issue

LaunchBox ver 10.15 running on Win 10 Pro (64-bit) ver 1909, build 18363.900

I must log into Epic Games every time I perform an import, regardless of whether “Remember Me” is checked or not; this would ordinarily not be so bad, except for the incredibly annoying “Not a Robot” verification process that requires choosing certain pictures in a grid, which I seem to have to perform at least 4 times in a row due to poor definition of the picture requirements (I know this verification process is outside your control, but the fact that I have to do it at all beyond the initial login during account link setup should be within your control).

Is this doing it anytime you run the importer or only after you have closed out and reopened LaunchBox? Just tested on a few builds and I did not have to log in to Epic account even after multiple attempts to run the importer. Even closing LB and reopening to then run the Epic importer did not require a log in again.

It seems that it only occurs if I close LB and reopen it. If I re-launch the import while LB is still running the same session, it does not require me to log in again. I’ve tried this with and without the Epic Games interface running in the background, but that seems to make no difference.

Thanks. I will check with the devs to see if anyone else is having the same issue. So far I have not had to log in after multiple restarts and even pc reboots.
