Menu Overlay system

Hey Jason, long time user.

One feature that I would love for Bigbox to gain is a menu style feature similar to Retroarch quick menu/Xbox Game Bar/Steam overlay. A simple one-button press on a controller to access a menu for quitting games instead of having to set up a button combination that isn't guaranteed to work on every emulator out of the box.

the overlay could also contain retro achievements and further features like a friend’s list, discord overlays, etc.

I have no idea what level of work it would be to do something like this, but hey, no feature request is a bad request right?

Turns out this is the pause option already in the game, just not transparent.
