If game that is being combined has only one version and contains []'s or ()'s, they are removed when not chosen as the main game

Issue #5414 new
Steven W. Dalton created an issue

Windows 10, LaunchBox 11.

This happens every time I combine two games and the one being combined into another has brackets or parenthesis and has only one version in it.

Example: I have 2 versions of Friday the 13th for the Commodore 64. One is an original copy: “Friday the 13th (Europe) (Original) (Tape)”, one is a cracked copy: “Friday the 13th [REM +3] (Disk)”

Once the REM version is combined as another version, it is added as “REM +3”. The brackets are removed, as is the whole “(Disk)” part.

This has been through the last several versions of LaunchBox.
